Potty Training Power
If you found this page last week, your child could be already trained!
It’s that kind of day, the kind you remember forever. The sun seems brighter, the trees taller, and the air fresher. You just potty trained your child and turned to a fresh page in your life’s story. Join the smart parents who have already ditched the diapers and found their freedom. Read this page to the end and find out how you can have a friendly hand to hold from the beginning of the potty training process all the way until the end.
Every parent has felt what you are feeling right now, at least to some degree. Potty training can be difficult, draining in a way that nothing else is. But it doesn’t have to be. The problem with general advice is that every child is different. The only potty training system that can maximize results, minimize difficulty, and ensure that potty training is a time of bonding rather than filled with power struggles is a system based on understanding the unique needs of your child.
If someone had suggested to us a year ago that we would be helping people all over the world with potty training their child, we would have laughed out loud, and not just because we think the word potty is funny (although we do). After running our preschool together and training each child to use the potty without incident, in almost no time, while strengthening the bond with their children, and then being asked our advice on a regular basis, it just made sense.
You need help. That’s why we’re hear.
We’re Sean and Cindy Platt and we know exactly how you feel. We’ve been through potty training now with more families than we can count. We help give families the potty training power they need. With Potty Training Power, and the helping hands behind it, you can be living a brand new life in just a few days.
- No more tossing away needed dollars on unneeded diapers.
- No more embarrassment over accidents in public.
- No more power struggles with your child.
- No more seeing, smelling, or changing dirty diapers.
- No more worrying your child will have accidents on the floor, furniture, carpet or clothing.
- New found freedom as you no longer need to plan activities around restrooms and changing stations.
- New found self esteem with a child who is proud of their accomplishments and confident of their character.
Potty Training Power isn’t for everyone. BUT IT IS for these families…
Your child has not yet had their second birthday. You may be ahead of most of your friends, but you might also know the majority of the world potty trains prior to two. You want to give your child all the tools necessary to provide them with the best head start possible.
Your child is between two and three and showing clear signs of potty training readiness. You want sound advice and practical procedure to ensure the process of potty training is positive, developmentally appropriate and as painless as possible.
Your child is going on four, or perhaps already there. You would like to place them in a social setting such as day camp or daycare. Maybe Kindergarten is looming right around the corner. You feel you waited too long, you are nervous your child might be left behind, and you feel a bit frantic. Time is against you and you are in search of immediate help.
You are at your absolute wit’s end. You have tried everything and nothing has worked. Your child refuses to cooperate with the potty training process. They kick and scream and cry and do things you don’t share even with your closest friends, all at the mere mention of going potty. You are desperate for a solution and feel if you don’t find one soon you may just go out of your mind.
Potty Training Power has turned countless families struggling with potty training into happy families filled with harmony.
We can help you.
That’s all four of us. Sean is a parenting writer and Cindy is a twenty year veteran teacher with a specialty in early childhood education. Together, we ran The Kinder Garden Platt Family Preschool where our motto was “Start Early, Finish Strong.”
Our preschool was based on the philosophy that everyone is a student and learning starts at birth. This philosophy not only ensured that even our one year olds could spell their names, it also helped establish the early habits that make fluid potty training fully possible.
Potty training isn’t magic, itʼs a process.
You must start with a strategy, then proceed with the will to make it happen. Anyone who says potty training can be completed in a single day (or even three) and without fail, probably isn’t painting an accurate picture.
However, with a proper plan, certainty in your method, and the conviction to see things through, not only will your potty training be successful, it will be an enriching period of bonding for the entire family.
We have seen plenty of families unnecessarily struggle through the potty training process, first with our preschool and then with family after family over the last six months. In 100% of the cases, potty training issues were quickly solved by simply sharpening a few of the tools every parent already carries in their own parenting tool box.
Destinations are easier to find when you have clear direction.
There are step-by-step instructions available for everything from giving birth to burping babies, yet for some reason it seems that literature on potty training is scant at best. Offline and online it’s easy to find personal opinions and random hearsay, but concrete plans with proven results can feel like buried treasure at best.
Helping parents in our preschool was easy. We just looked them in the eye and spoke bluntly about what needed to be done. They listened to our advice, went home and applied it, then came back after the weekend with an accident free child. We wanted Potty Training Power to apply the same principles made possible by the banter on the front porch of our preschool, met with the connective power of technology. How did we do this?
By focusing on what made potty training successful in the first place – crystal clear communication.
The Potty Training Power System was born!
We launched the first version of Potty Training Power earlier this year to a wave of fantastic reviews and glowing feedback. The original product came with a short, to-the-point book that explained the process of potty training in clear concise terms and set parents on their way to success.
The handful of parents who were unable to reach their goals from the written materials met them immediately after taking advantage of the full email support offered as just one component of the Potty Training Power system.
It’s only been six months, but we decided to take the best potty training system on the market and make it even better! We expanded the system and loaded it with bonuses. Much like your toddlers, the two of us are addicted to positive praise. We love reading all the emails telling us what a difference we made in the lives of their child and were excited to get back to the lab and make something already great even better.

Facts About Potty Training
Just as every child is different, so is the ideal age for potty training. Most children are ready between 18 and 32 months, but preparation can begin before their first birthday. Itʼs not too late to start today.
- Regardless of when training starts, the majority of children are physically capable of achieving restroom independence between the ages of 2 and 4.
- Training your child to use the toilet should be as natural as teaching them to hold a cup or build with blocks.
- There isnʼt one correct solution to potty-training. The right approach is pleasant, positive, and patient. Your disposition sets the tone. Your child looks to you for guidance. Your attitude and perception mean everything to them.
- Potty-training is not expensive. A potty chair, a dozen pairs of underwear and the proper mindset are all you need. Common sense is free.
- Potty-training is a process, not an event. The more readiness skills a child has, the quicker the process will be. You bring the readiness, we bring the techniques.
- Your enthusiasm as a parent is every bit as important as your childʼs readiness to learn.
Myths About Potty Training
You must wait until your child is 2 years of age to begin toilet training because the muscles aren’t ready yet.
FALSE. The truth is, a childʼs elimination muscles reach full maturity between 12-24 months. 18 months is the worldwide average. Using these muscles fosters early development and maturity, same as any other muscle in the body. Consider this: a child confined to a crib until he is 2 years old wouldn’t have the needed muscle development to walk. Getting your child out of the diaper encourages them to gain control of under-developed and flacid elimination muscles.
Early potty-training puts unneeded pressure on a child.
FALSE. The truth is, children reared to use the toilet early experience no pressure; they are naturally performing what they have learned. Children made to feel comfortable in their own waste until 24-48 months will not be as eager to discard this learned behavior. Over 80% of the worldʼs children are toilet trained between 12-18 months. The U.S. is one of the few countries where the average age has pushed 36-48 months.
The psychological effects of early potty training can be damaging.
FALSE. The truth is, the reverse is often true. Many children toilet trained at the ages of 3 and 4 are afraid to go on the toilet, and some need a diaper to have a bowel movement because it is what they have been trained to do since birth. Children trained to go on the toilet early will not have a fear of the toilet or an over-dependent need for their parents.
Donʼt buy an e-book with a list of accessories. The best accessory is good judgment.

I don’t have enough thanks!!!

We read the book over the weekend and then my husband and I started potty training the following Monday. We had a talk with her just as you suggested. I wanted to cry like I normally do around 9:00 AM, but this time for totally different reasons! My son was understanding what we were supposed to do and going along with everything we asked with a smile on his face!
He’s had one accident, but has otherwise stayed completely dry. I had really lost hope. I will never be able to say thank you enough, but please use this letter if it helps.
Thank you so so much,
~ Elizabeth Essington
I downloaded the book almost a month ago, if you can believe it, but then I never did anything with it. It wasn’t until I went to bed crying last Saturday that I opened it up and read it first page to last.
Everything worked, Caleb is smiling, and we haven’t had an accident since Tuesday (It’s Sunday night right now). You really do have the power. I’m glad I got the book, I just should have read it sooner.
~ Jill Parker
After you answered every single one of my emails and I asked if there was anything I could do to repay you, you said that yes, I could share my story and let you put it on the Potty site, so here it is.
My daughter was two and a half before she was trained. This was embarrassing to me as I always imagined her to be potty trained before she turned two. We are originally from Russia and everyone there is trained earliest.
Me and my wife took our daughter into the restroom with us whenever we had to go, starting when she could walk. We had a little potty in there for her. We did not push it and figured she would be learning on her own time. Quietly, we both knew we needed to tighten up and get her potty trained. In fact, we told our parents that she was. Then once we tried, Isabelle resisted.
I was frustrated when I found your book on the website. I did not have anything to lose so I downloaded. It was not easy and Isabelle kept resisting, but whenever we had a question you answered it right away. Your advice was always helpful and my wife and I can’t thank you enough. It took two weeks, bu I think it would have taken a lot longer without your help.
Thank you again,
~ Michael
My son is almost three. I bought him his own potty chair for his second birthday, but he would NEVER pay attention to it. He loved wearing underwear, but not enough to keep from having accidents. Nothing I did worked and I felt like every time I started potty training I was only making more work for myself. I decided to see what I could find out online as obviously my methods weren’t working. I found your product and downloaded it. Even though I loved the way everything looked, I was skeptical it would work. But I was wrong. I read the main book all in one sitting while even taking notes! It helped me see what I was doing wrong and make a plan for how I was going to finally do it right.
I started five days ago. It’s been the best it’s ever been and we haven’t had an accident in four days. Last night he slept without a diaper at rest time and told his dad today that he wanted to sleep like a big boy tonight when he goes to sleep.
I just wanted to say thank you. I asked my husband if he thought that was silly and he said no. As a first time mom and dad your website really helped us. All the advice I was getting from others conflicted, but Potty Training Power helped me make a solid plan based on what I know of my son.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!
~ Gretchin Donnet
Our son is going on three and a half. We feel as though we may have started too late. We’ve been trying for about six months, but everything we have tried has backfired. We were out of ideas and feeling frustrated until my wife found your website.
Thank you. We read your book together and started potty training the next day. The first day was awful and we went to bed really sad. But we tried again the next day and stuck to our guns and he has been dry ever since. We couldn’t get a diaper on him now if we tried.
Thank you for giving us the perfect approach to potty training!
~ Jason Schlarb
I have tried everything, everything, EVERYTHING!!! But your book trained Jenna in under a week. Maybe it’s too good to be true and you’ll get an entirely different letter from me next week, but for now…
This mom’s on cloud 9!!!
Thank you!!!
~ Sylvia McCeckan
I have been meaning to write and send this email for a while now. Please do not take the late date as any diminishment of my gratitude or respect. My nanny went back East last Christmas and never came back. This happened without warning and left me in a position where I had to enroll my three year old son in an all day preschool. The problem was, he wasn’t trained.
I tried to put him through a quick potty training boot camp, but I was having a terrible time with him. He wouldn’t listen to anything I would say and turned everything into a battle. Three days after enrolling my son into preschool, he got expelled for having multiple accidents. I don’t know if I’ve ever been more embarrassed in all my life. That was the night I bought and started reading your book. I admit that I was extremely skeptical about your methods, not only because I downloaded it, but because I know my child. I begged the preschool to give me until after the weekend to get him potty trained and they agreed. I didn’t have a lot of choice so even though I didn’t really believe in your book, I decided to follow it to the letter. I did exactly like I was supposed to and never looked back. He has been in school for over two months and hasn’t had an accident there or at home.
I meant to write this letter, but other things have required my time. If it makes it any better, I have recommended your website to a lot of people in the last two months.
Thank you so much!
~ Susan Miller
I have four children, but only Anna has been difficult to potty train. Thank you so much for being there with a little extra advice to help out even an experienced mom like me.
~ Rebecca Dinnen
Put the power in your hands. Your childʼs independence is a click away!
Potty Training Power was already the best potty training product on the market, but we wanted to make it even better. We’ve spent six months helping a steady procession of parents ditch the diapers for good, gathering their most pertinent problems and frequently asked questions. This has enabled us to refine our system and turn a premium product that much closer to perfect.
Potty Training Power will hold your hand through the potty training process in a way that turns a necessary transition and potential difficulty into a powerful period of bonding between you and your child.
One of the many things that sets Potty Training Power apart is the core understanding that every child is different. Sometimes perfectly reasonable advice that works for one child (perhaps even one of your own) doesn’t seem to work at all for another. An endless line of well meaning people only compound the problem by offering advice that is high in contrast, but low in cohesion.
You don’t need a dozen different voices chirping in your ear throwing you just enough conflicting advice to turn the process to trial and error.
You need a road map, a compass and a guide in case you get lost.
You need Potty Training Power.
With Potty Training Power you will:
Drastically reduce the stress of every day life. Parenting is difficult, even without the diapers. The endless cooking, cleaning and running to and fro is hard enough, you don’t need anything to make it harder. Potty training Power will help you almost instantly eliminate one of the most tiresome parts of your day.
Increase the quality of your existing minutes. There is only so much time in the day. How many hours have you wasted with a handful of baby wipes? Giving your child the independence to take care of their bathroom issues themselves isn’t just a necessary step in the growing process, it can give you a refreshing return to the kind of freedom you might have forgotten was possible.
An immediate improvement in your child’s hygiene. The skin of a young child is exceedingly tender. The longer your child remains in diapers, the larger their exposure to the risk of serious skin infections and irritations. Potty Training Power will help you start the necessary improvement in your child’s personal hygiene that will follow them for the rest of their for life.
Ditch the diapers AND the diaper bag. When was the last time you were able to leave the house with just your purse or wallet? We know the feeling. We used to joke that every time we left the house it was like preparing for a camping trip. Potty train your child and make a return to traveling light. Leave the house without having to think about how many diapers you might need, whether or not you packed the wipes, or if one change of clothes will (hopefully) be enough.
Save enough money for a family vacation. Seriously, even if you don’t consider diapers to be that big an expense – just a few dollars here and a few dollars there – you can’t argue with the numbers. Now more than ever, every dollar counts. Wouldn’t you like to save several hundreds of dollars a year? Potty training your child is like having someone secretly stashing money in your savings account. Imagine not sweating the cost of gas or having a little bit extra for groceries.
Experience the kind of freedom you might have forgotten was even possible. Invite people over to your house again, go shopping without worrying about accidents or needing to search for a changing table. Stop feeling like a prisoner. Having an untrained child can take a serious toll on your life. The second your child is potty trained, your life will improve immeasurably.
And perhaps most importantly…
You will instantly see a new and improved confidence in your child. Of course your life will see an improvement, but that will be nothing compared to what you will be giving to your child. A potty trained toddler is like having a brand new child altogether. Potty training your little one will have a decisive and instant impact on their life. Your child will likely become more outgoing with a new found confidence behind every step they take.
Start today and enjoy your tomorrow.
Every day you put off potty training can make the process a little more painful. Once your child reaches a level of comfort wearing diapers, even when soiled, you will be fighting an uphill battle that can wage for far too long.
Potty training your child is one of the most important milestones you will ever reach together. Get your child out of the diapers, find your mutual freedom, and start saving your dollars today!
