[...] Today’s guest post is the second in a series from writer and cartoonist, Blogger Dad (aka David Wright). While he drew all the art for Potty Training Power and designed this web site, this is his first experience with actual potty training. He and his wife will be using the Potty Training Power System with their two year old son, E. All this week, he will share his potty training adventures right here. If you missed part one of this series, you can catch it here. [...]

Well, It's certainly the intent that's important and if he's interested you're on your way!

We found the toughest part of the process for both our kids was post potty honeymoon. Initial interest, then not so much. Letting it happen and avoiding the parent potty push got us through that period.

As for aim: keep some Cheerios handy and drop 'em in when he's at bat. (Might be more useful later.)

Congratulations on ditching those diapers. This a great first day testimony. Cheers on the Elmo seat. No worries on bad aim, he'll get the part that he needs to keep his legs together if he is sitting until he starts taking aim like the big dogs. Good on ya Daddy and Mommy! "E" we are so proud of your new first steps. "Atta Boy!"
